Leading Kent property developer Quinn Estates has stepped into the breach with emergency support and funding for Canterbury Rugby Club.

Quinn Estates is a long-standing sponsor of the 92-year-old club, and will continue to support them as lockdown restrictions ease and the much loved club and venue reopens to the general public.

As the most proactive mixed-use developer in the South East, Quinn Estates is committed to supporting and enhancing community facilities across Kent and the South-East. Creating a legacy of community improvement is evident in the sports facilities, play parks and the open spaces created by the group alongside the significant support provided to local groups.

Mark Quinn, CEO and Chairman of Quinn Estates, said: “The work Giles Hilton and his team put into the rugby club is truly inspirational and Quinn Estates is delighted to continue to support them.  As the country recovers from the impact of the past year, we will continue to do as much as we can to enact positive change in our area and working with groups like the rugby club to support the area’s young people and those in need.”

Giles Hilton, Chairman of Canterbury Rugby Club, added: “After a challenging year, the continued support of Quinn Estates as sponsor is vital to the club. The company’s work in the community is clear across their developments and their support of clubs like ours will allow us to progress throughout the season. We’re looking forward to continuing to develop this relationship with Quinn Estates in the years to come.”

This commitment to sport and the community is not a new or short-term initiative for Quinn Estates but one it has developed and grown. Their flagship project, the Herne Bay Sports Hub, a £10m, 15-acre new facility for four local clubs and the community of Herne Bay, is testament to their track record for doing what they say they will.   Quinn Estates strives to continue to set the standard for these kinds of developments and is keen to work with the wider community further in the future.
