Surge In Sales At Kent Development
Strong demand from city dwellers for outside space has fuelled a surge in sales at a luxury apartment development in Kent.
Of the 216 units available at Victoria Point, a total of 205 have been sold.
David Hofton, sales and marketing director at developer Elevate, noted that the pandemic had made homebuyers much more sensitive to their surroundings.
“We have seen an exodus from London as many buyers decided that working from home meant they did not need to be within walking distance or a short daily commute from work,” he added.
“Before anyone had even heard of Covid-19, we had taken the conscious decision to deliver an exemplary scheme of 216 apartments, meticulously designed and luxuriously appointed.
“Victoria Point’s location, most apartments having balconies, the south facing communal gardens and close proximity of the waterside walks along the River Stour and nearby Victoria Park have all contributed to the success of the scheme.”
